Let me recap to the “Sukhad-Chakra” that I showed in a previous video. Notice here the 40% slice of this Pie-Chart. Neither our DNA and nor any external factors in our life can take this 40% away from us. And it is all in our hands.
This is the secret formula. 40% of our happiness depends on what we THINK and DO in our daily lives. Based on this, let me now share FOUR Happiness Sutras with you.

HAPPINESS SUTRA-1: WAKE UP AND START LIVING.
Enjoy the life’s pleasures. Play Cards, Watch Movies, Do Group Hobbies And Attend Satsangs. There is a message here. Do not go to sleep over life. It is in your hands but most of us do it as an impulse and not as a habit.
Make enjoying life a habit. Put these activities in your Mobile Calender or To-Do-List. Every morning, make sure that you do not miss out on an activity from this To-Do-List of Happiness.

HAPPINESS SUTRA-2 : NURTURE RELATIONSHIPS.
There is research based evidence that spending more time with people who matter in our lives provides a big happiness boost. The trick is to deliberately plan this. Idea is not just to be around but to ACTIVELY ENGAGE with them. Everyone can decide their own time for regular physical meetings. You will only get the benefit from this Sutra if you fix a time for doing this every day or every week. Without regularity you will get zero benefit out of it.

HAPPINESS SUTRA-3 : EXPRESS GRATITUDE
Do not underestimate this technique. Let us look at what this picture says. It has huge benefits as shown. Based on deep research by social scientists, this is hailed as one of the most powerful techniques to become happy.
Take a time-out daily – even one minute – for expressing gratitude. To God for what you have. To friends for their being a friend. To family for their unconditional love. To office colleagues for being part of your journey. Close your eyes for at least one-minute-a-day to do this. Even better if you give them all a call at least once a month for being in your life. Once you try it, the results can be dramatic.

HAPPINESS SUTRA-4 : PHYSICAL EXERCISE
If you have no energy then you have no life. You would not even enjoy a holiday. Healthy, fit and energetic people can be happy without doing much. Never, never ignore this. Exercise MUST be made a daily ritual. Do this and you will be halfway on the road to happiness. And it is all in your hands.
