Here is an eternal question ! Can Money Buy Happiness ? Some will say YES but many will also say NO. Both may be right. Today, I am going to share what is the REAL answer to this question. You MUST read this article carefully because this is such a fascinating topic.

This pie chart shows that money CAN and CAN NOT buy happiness. This Video is NOT for people who are poor. This is about whether happiness can be bought by people who HAVE the money.

As per famous social scientist Dr Gibert “More Money Does Not Mean More Happiness”. Money is certainly a contributing factor but only to a point. Money can not go beyond that.

Does it mean that becoming rich is a bad thing. Certainly not.

Creating wealth by hard work and fair means is a very noble goal. It is a natural human instinct. The question is about the LINK between wealth and happiness.

Let us say I bought a Mercedes car and felt happy to afford an expensive car. But it is also a status symbol. If no one ever saw my car and it remained only in my garage, then maybe I am not getting the same happiness out of it. Suppose I lived in a colony where everybody had a Ferrari car except me then the same Mercedes car may become a cause of unhappiness. And what about that sole guy in the colony who owns a Tata Nano Car. Should he commit suicide.

Lot of people have money now-a-days but still seem to be in search of happiness. And that is why you have an industry of Yoga studios, laughing clubs, Gurus and Ashrams trying to help towards that goal.

There must be a good reason for that. There is no doubt that money can provide lots of pleasures like shopping, good holidays, owning good articles and living in a big house. The important point to note is that these pleasures are temporary and only skin deep.

Did you notice that some of the richest people in India are also the most passionate visitors to various temples and attend the sermons of all types of Gurus. Why ?

Then the next big question is that if money alone is not enough then what is it that gives lasting happiness. Where do we get our happiness from ?

Well, here is the answer to that question.

These are the FOUR pillars of happiness. Family, Friends, Hobbies and Spiritual connect. Just think and you will find that almost every part of lasting happiness will be derived from one of these FOUR pillars. Best part is that most happiness that we get are from the things that do NOT cost much money.

THE TAKEAWAY

Money is an absolute necessity of life. We can not do without it. But to expect money ALONE to buy that long lasting and inner happiness would be a big mistake. That is just not possible.

In this cartoon, the Baba is giving out this hidden message in a very subtle manner to someone who is in a rat race of money.

Let me now share with you one of my favourite quotation from a person who had plenty of money.

It will be hard to put it better. Happiness is not hidden and is not only for the rich.

Understanding where to get it from is the KEY. You now know it.
